STRUCTURE OF RADIATION SHIELD WALL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of radiation shield wall capable of effectively wetting earth and sand by using paper drain material for a shield wall of exceeding a height limit in natural elevation of underground water by capillary phenomenon of the earth and sand used for the inside of a radiation shield wall according to the characteristics of them. SOLUTION: Earth and sand 11 are filled in between an outer wall 5 and an inner wall 7 constituting a radiation shield wall 3 and a paper drain material 13 is accumulated from a normal water level WL of the ground 2 to the upper part of the filled earth and sand 11 to be continued to the upper end of the paper drain material 13. For the alternative, an external water supply means 15 is provided in the earth and sand 11 near the upper end of the paper drain material 13.
