PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a developing period for a vehicle, and reduce a cost, by providing a device and a method of design capable of conducting mounting design of vehicular electrical equipment before completing a vehicular body. SOLUTION: This mounting design of the vehicular electrical equipment is conducted by a step S1 for measuring a high frequency current passing a power source line connecting the electronic equipment and a power source of the electronic equipment and a ground line, of a wire harness connected to the electronic equipment mounted in the vehicle; a step S2 for determining a high frequency current distribution in the wire harness while using the measured high frequency current having a high frequency current value as a current source; a step S3 for calculating unnecessary electromagnetic radiation at a specified point of the vehicular body by an electromagnetic field analysis, in consideration of metallic reflection of an electromagnetic field due to a vehicular body frame, on the basis of the high frequency current distribution; and steps S4, S5, S6 for designing the wire harness or the electronic equipment on the basis of the value of the calculated unnecessary electromagnetic radiation. |
