<p>The lift cabin (14) has an inspection hatch (34) in the roof (18) which is secured by an electrolock. A technician using portable steps (36) in the cabin is able to gain access to the winding gear through the hatch. The cabin is directly connected to the winding cable (24) without using a yoke and additional access panels at the side of the lift gates enable the lift brakes to be released and the winding gear rotated by manual operation.</p> |
