PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hardly cause a jam inside a double-sided unit. SOLUTION: This image forming device has a pair of inlet paper detection sensors 8, 9 provided in a double-sided unit inlet part 7 on a line orthogonal to a carrying direction of paper P, respectively detecting both side parts of the tip of the paper P to the carrying direction of the paper P; a controller 10 stopping drive of both a motor 22 for rotating a reverse roller 17 when displacement not less than a prescribed value caused by paper skew occurs in paper detecting timing by the inlet paper detection sensors 8, 9, and a motor 23 for rotating a carrier roller 20 and a double-sided outlet roller 21; and a pair of outlet paper detection sensors 12, 13 provided in a double-sided unit outlet part 11. The controller 10 also stops both the motors 22, 23 when displacement not less than a prescribed value occurs in paper detecting timing by the outlet paper detection sensors 12, 13. |
