PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create an anti-active keratinocyte transglutaminase antibody, and to readily detect the active keratinocyte transglutaminase by utilizing various kinds of immunological methods such as immunostaining procedure. SOLUTION: This anti-active keratinocyte transglutaminase antibody is an antibody specifically recognizing the keratinocyte transglutaminase, and has affinity to the active keratinocyte transglutaminase higher than that to an inactive keratinocyte transglutaminase.
