SOLUTION: A magnetic printer comprising means (23) for controlling the drive system of a magnetic recording drum, means (22) for detecting the rotational speed of the magnetic recording drum, and means (26) for setting a current value being fed to a magnetic recording head having a magnetic core applied with a coil is further provided with means (25) for controlling a current value being fed to the magnetic recording head in tune with the print speed.
