PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a U-nut type fastener for forming the vertical layered arrangement. SOLUTION: This U-nut type fastener 10 is provided with a retainer ring 18 and a vertical nut member 32. In the case of laminating this fasteners, the retainer ring of an upper fastener is engaged with a nut member of a lower fastener. A latch member 40 of the lower fastener is engaged with a recessed part 38 of the upper fastener so as to prevent the rotation of the fastener inside of the layered arrangement and hold the parallelism. Furthermore, a recessed part 44 is formed so as to hold the parallelism.
