PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a console box device capable of moving a console box to a degree to secure a sufficient passable space. SOLUTION: A stay block 20 is supported on slide shafts 40, 50 free to slide in the longitudinal direction of a cabin 12 and the stay block 20 slides to the rear side of the cabin 12 by air pressure of a gas spring 110 when a pin 104 integral with a base plate 30 is relatively moved to a connecting part of a lock hole 98 and a slide hole 94 of a guide plate 90 by revolving a gate lever 60 toward a releasing position on this console box device 10. As in such sliding of the stay block 20 to the rear side, all its moving quantity contributes to the distance of from a gateway to the cabin, it is possible to secure the sufficient gateway space with little moving quantity.
