PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the shutter device of a camera, with which the generation of static electricity is prevented and which is easily manufactured and is inexpensive. SOLUTION: The shutter device of the camera has a shutter base 40 provided with a shutter aperture 41; shutter blades 32 and 33, which are freely movable between a closing position at which the blades cover the shutter aperture 41 and a maximum opening position, at which the blades totally open the shutter aperture 41 and are held and slid by the shutter base 40; and a shutter driving member 34, by which the shutter blades 32 and 33 are moved to the maximum opening position by rocking into opening direction and are moved in the closing position by rocking into closing direction and that is held at the shutter base 40. The shutter driving member 34 formed of a conductive material abuts on the shutter blades 32 and 33 and the shutter base 40 so that the shutter driving member 34 is grounded.
