PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image copying device which is usable repeatedly, without requiring intermediary media, such as toners. SOLUTION: This sheet consists of an electrostatic charger 2, which electrostatically charges uniform charges 3 over the entire surface of a photoreceptor 1, an optical wiring device 4 which writes an charged latent image 3' meeting an image signal on the electrostatically charged photoreceptor 1 and an electrophoretic type image display sheet 5, which forms the sensible image by the electrophoretic effect by the electric field of the charged latent image 3', by bringing this sheet into tight contact with the top of the photoreceptor 1 formed with the latent image. Image copying may be executed at a high speed and the repetitive use, by erasing the copied images is possible, so that this method makes an important contribution to resource saving.
