PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat pipe which is miniaturized and manufactured with ease, and which is excellent in heat transfer property, and further which is easy in mounting, and further provide a heat pipe type cooling apparatus and a manufacturing method of the flat heat pipe. SOLUTION: The present flat heat pipe 1 includes a heat pipe section 1a having a flattened shape and permitting a working fluid 8 to be encapsulated therein, and mounting sections 2 and 3 formed at longitudinal mounting sections 2 and 3 it is made possible to mount the heat pipe 1 using a bolt, etc., to reduce contact thermal resistance.
