PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas recirculation device with high responsiveness provided in an exhaust gas recirculation gas passage, operated by a very small pressure difference between an exhaust pressure and an intake pressure, and capable of coping with a large flow rate of exhaust gas recirculation gas. SOLUTION: This exhaust gas recirculation device is composed of an exhaust gas recirculation passage 5 feeding the exhaust gas recirculation gas from an exhaust passage of an engine to an intake passage, an exhaust gas recirculation valve 3 interposed in the exhaust gas recirculation passage 5 and capable of adjusting a flow rate of the exhaust gas recirculation gas of the exhaust gas recirculation passage 5, and a pressure responsive valve 4 interposed in the exhaust gas recirculation passage 5, composed of a valve member 14, a seat member 11, and a spring member 15 pressing and energizing the valve member 14 against the seat member 11 so as to allow only a flow of the exhaust gas recirculation gas from a exhaust passage 5 side to an intake passage side, and set so as to allow the valve member 14 to abut on the set member 11 by a free length of the spring member 15.
