PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition excellent in processability, size stability and the like, giving vulcanized rubber having excellent tensile strength, abrasion resistance and the like, and useful as industrial materials such as a rubber role, a hulling roll, a belt, a hose and a rubberized cloth, footgears such as transparent shoes, materials for tread, sidewall or the like of a tire for a large-sized car or a common car, sanitary materials such as a condom, or the like. SOLUTION: The rubber composition contains (1) a cross-linking rubber particles containing (a) 39.89-79.89 mass % of a conjugated diene unit such as 1,3-butadiene, (b) 20-60 mass % of an aromatic vinyl unit such as styrene, (c) 0.01-10 mass % of a monomer unit such as divinylbenzene having at least two polymerizable unsaturated groups and (d) 0.1-30 mass % of a monomer unit such as vinylbenzyldimethylamine having one polymerizable unsaturated group and amino group as recurring units, and (2) a conjugated diene/aromatic vinyl copolymer rubber such as styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber.
