PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for preventing a slide-down of a connection locking part of a support pillar for equipment to be used for health, medical care, sport and care and requiring the height adjustment thereof. SOLUTION: The inner tube wall 4 of a double insertion tube is formed with an inclined groove-like recessed part, and a tip of a screw type bolt 2 is brought in contact with both sides of the recessed part through a nut 5 fixed to an outer tube 3 so as to strengthen the locking force.
