PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacity control valve for piston type variable displacement compressor capable of reducing the energy loss of the compressor. SOLUTION: A valve element 60 is provided so as to control the open degree of a valve port 58 for communicating a discharge port 12 and a piston chamber 19 of a compressor 1 with a movement thereof in a valve stem direction. In the condition that an electromagnetic solenoid device 72 is excited, the valve element 60 arid a bellows device 62 are made to abut on each other, and the valve element 60 is displaced in the valve opening direction in response to the shrinkage of the bellows device 62. In the condition that the electromagnetic solenoid device 72 is extinguished, the valve element 60 and the bellows device 62 are separated from each other, and the valve element 60 is forcibly opened by the spring force of a valve closing spring 61. |
