PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of backlash of a wood member to a core bar. SOLUTION: In this steering wheel 10, the wood member 20 is installed on the core bar 16 by making the core bar 16 go through an inner wall 22 of the wood member 20. A radial direction space 24 along radial direction of the core bar 16 and an axial direction space 26 along vertical direction of a steering shaft are provided between the inner wall 22 of the wood member 20 and the core bar 16. Further, an elastic adhesive 28 is provided at a boundary part between the radial direction space 24 and the axial direction space 26. When the core bar 16 and the wood member 20 relatively move by change of external temperature and/or humidity, the radial direction space 24 and the axial direction space 26 absorb relative movements of the core bar 16 and the wood member 20. The absorption of the relative movements of the core bar 16 and the wood member 20 by the radial direction space 24 and the axial direction space 26 is not disturbed by the elastic adhesive 28. Thus, the generation of the backlash of the wood member 20 to the core bar 16 is prevented. |
