PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a creel stand that can prevent a slip of fiber from a bobbin and a fall of the bobbin itself from a spindle, and a twist, an axial bend and fluff due to abrasion in the fiber. SOLUTION: The creel stand 1 has a front view wherein a plurality of bobbins 2 suspended from the creel stand 1 are held with stepped winding axis directions and all vertically adjacent bobbins 2 are arranged with partly overlapped winding widths of fiber wound about the bobbins 2. A required number of fibers wound about each bobbin 2 are evenly guided into a passage position of fiber passing over an opposed comb in a region corresponding to the winding width of each bobbin 2. The fiber unreeled from each bobbin 2 is smoothly guided into the comb while a swing angle to the comb is continuously controlled to a small level.
