PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tenter device capable of supporting a film F while taking into consideration the unbalance in symmetry in the right-to-left direction caused by the difference in thickness dots and flatness, and the difference in supporting condition by the tenter device. SOLUTION: A left pin supporting part 24 provided on a left tenter chain 12 is provided movably in the right-to-left direction by a left threaded bar 30, a right pin supporting part 26 provided on a right tenter chain 14 is provided movably in the right-to-left direction by a right threaded bar 38, and the left pin supporting part 24 and the right pin supporting part 26 can be moved to the symmetric position in the right-to-left direction or to the asymmetric position in the right-to-left direction.
