摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of liquid crystal display elements, by which a plurality of liquid crystal display elements are manufactured at once by using a pair of substrates and the occurrence of shift in the positional relation of the two substrates is suppressed when bonding the two substrates through seal walls and liquid crystal by pressurizing the substrates from the end of one substrate to the end of the other sequentially. SOLUTION: A plurality of liquid crystal display elements are manufactured by using the substrates S1 and S2 where electrodes and the like are formed. The four seal walls SW1 to SW4 and dummy walls DW1 and DW2 are formed on the substrate S1 from adhesive (sealant). Liquid crystal is arranged in an area surrounded by the seal walls and the substrates S1 and S2 are pressurized from the end of one substrate to the end of the other sequentially. Thus, the substrates are bonded. Consequently, adhesive is continuously bonded to both substrates in a pressurization progressing direction when bonding by the seal walls and the dummy walls constituted of adhesive.
