PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rough road judging device capable of automatically judging the rough road travel or travel by installing a tire chain. SOLUTION: The acceleration sensor output in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle and the acceleration sensor output in the horizontal direction are differentiated respectively. If the absolute value of the differentiation value exceeds the preset value, the judgement signal is output. While the rough road judgement is output, a stabilizing control device in the vehicle prevents the acceleration sensor in the horizontal direction from zero point correction controlling.
