PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of flushes when taking out blow water from a boiler. SOLUTION: In the boiler in which a water supply route 2 provided with a water supply pump 3 on its halfway and a blow route 6 provided with a blow valve 4 on its halfway are connected to the main body 1 of the boiler and the operation of the pump 3 and the opening/closing of the valve 4 are controlled by means of an operation controller 5 connected to the pump 3 and valve 4, a heat exchanger 8 which performs heat exchange between the water supplied to the main body 1 and blow water taken out from the main body 1 is provided and, when performing blowing, the controller 5 controls to open the valve 4 after the operation of the pump 3 is started and delay time t1 elapses.
