PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device appropriately preventing lubricating oil from leaking and splashing outside from an oil retaining bearing without any restriction on a mounting attitude. SOLUTION: A sliding bearing 22 as an oil retaining bearing is supported by a bearing housing part 21 at one end and pivotally supports a rotation shaft 5 of a motor. A lock washer 23 is mounted on the bearing housing part 21 and supports another end of the sliding bearing 22. A cup washer 24 is fixed on the rotation shaft 5 and is mounted on the lock washer 23 in a reversed condition. An O ring 25 is put between the inner surface of the bearing housing part 21 (second cylindrical part 21e) and the outer surface of the cup washer 24 (bend over part 24a) to liquid-tightly separate from an outside.
