PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening unit which can shorten working hours in the construction field, and can form an opening with a predetermined dimension while maintaining uniform quality thereof. SOLUTION: The opening unit 1 is constituted of a pair of studs 10 erected with an interval therebetween, an opening frame 20 interposed between the studs 10, head supporting portions 30 arranged above the opening frame 20, etc. A soffit of the opening unit 1 is fitted into a groove formed in a runner 104 attached to a floor, whereby the opening unit 1 is erected therefrom (see Fig. 1 (a)). Then, the head supporting portions 30 are expanded until upper ends thereof are fitted into a groove in a runner 102 attached to a ceiling. In this manner the opening unit 1 is set between the runners arranged on the ceiling and the floor (see Fig. 1 (b)).
