PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a console box device capable of extending a passable space as well as simplifying operation required at the time of going in and out of a cabin. SOLUTION: A motor 44 is provided on this console box device 10, when a push switch 48 is pressed and operated, the motor 44 works, a gear 54 rotates and rolls on a rack bar 56, a gear 84 rotates in the interlocking motion with the gear 54 and a gate lever 110 revolves. Additionally, a cam rotates in the interlocking motion with rotation of the gear 54 and when a limit switch works by rotation of this cam, an ECU actuates a valve for hydraulic control. Consequently, it is possible to extend a space for going in and out by sliding a console box 14 only by fundamentally pressing and operating the push switch 48, to release regulation by the gate lever 110 and to simplify operation required at the time of going in and out of the cabin as hydraulic pressure can be controlled, too.
