PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external wall panel body which extremely facilitates installation of a panel unit, and therefore does not require skill of an operating engineer when installed. SOLUTION: The external wall panel unit includes installing rails horizontally installed in a skeleton, and the panel unit held between the installing rails. Each installing rail has an engaging portion and a screwing portion in a longitudinal direction. The panel unit has a hook portion at an upper end thereof, which hook portion engages from above with the engaging portion of the installing rail in a horizontally slidable manner. The panel unit also has a screw-fixing portion at a lower end thereof, which fixing portion corresponds to the screwing portion of the installing rail. Further, the screw-fixing portion superposed on the screwing portion is positioned at a gap portion between the upper and lower panel units.
