PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device of high durability, capable of stably keeping the screw pump effect. SOLUTION: Plural cavities 34 are formed inside of a seal lip 33, the rigidity of parts having the cavities 34 of a surface of the seal lip 33 is lowered, so that the amount of deformation of the parts having the cavities 34 is different form that of a part free from the cavity in action of the force to the surface of the seal lip 33, whereby a channel exercising the pumping function is formed on the surface of the seal lip 33 in action of the force (contact pressure, sealed fluid pressure, or the like mainly in relative rotation) onto the surface of the seal lip 33. |
