PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic device having a long life, high resolution and high picture quality which uses light of a short wavelength LD used as the light source for writing, which is designed as optimized to realize high resolution and high picture quality at the wavelength of the light source for writing, and which is designed to be excellent in durability. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor having a photosensitive layer on a conductive supporting body is irradiated with semiconductor laser light at 400 to 450 nm wavelength as the writing light, and the average particle size of the charge generating material in the photosensitive layer is >=0.01μm to <=1.0μm. |
