PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a film unit with a lens which is capable of making the novel film unit with the lens of a low cost contributing to resource conservation. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the film unit with the lens has a process step of peeling a label from the recovered film unit with the lens, a process step of removing a rear cover, spool cover and spool from the unit body of the film unit with the lens, a process step of loading an unexposed film into the unit body from which the rear cover, the spool cover and the spool are removed, a process step of light shielding the unit body by mounting the rear cover, the spool cover and a bottom cover thereto, a process step of covering the unit body with an exterior cover and a process step of covering the unit body with a packaging bag and has a process step of changing the display position of an index plate at an assigned position from the process step of peeling the label to the process step of covering the unit body with the packaging bag.
