PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forward viewing device, for insuring viewability during traveling and crane operation, capable of monitoring forward field of view opposite to a driving cab having a telescopic boom in between, in a crane truck having a turn table revolvably mounted on a traveling vehicle body provided with a driving cab for both traveling and crane operation at its one side, and having the telescopic boom pivotally mounted on the turn table and housed in a position below the eye point of the driving cab in a lowermost state. SOLUTION: At a suitable end part of the turn table opposite to the driving cab having the telescopic boom in between, a television camera is mounted toward the forward direction of the crane truck, and a display for displaying the image shot by the television camera is mounted so as to be able to monitor the forward field of view of the crane truck by the display.
