PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic elastomer composition excellent in impact resilience and tensile characteristics chloride at a high temperature of >=150 deg.C, excellent in flexibility and moldability and excellent in adhesiveness to a metal, etc. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic elastomer composition is a composition comprising particles which are composed of a crosslinked rubber (B) and have <=100μm average particle diameter dispersed into a matrix composed of a modified 4-methyl-1-pentene-based polymer (A) modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or a carboxylic acid anhydride and is constituted of 20-95 wt.% of the matrix and 5-80 wt.% of the particles.
