<p>The invention concerns pay communications, in particular of television images. A device for such communications comprises an input interface (E1) for receiving scrambled signals, processing means converting the signals into descrambled signals, for direct use, and an output interface (S1) for delivering the descrambled signals for direct use. The device further comprises an access control module (1) co-operating with a memory card (CA) bearing a user identifier associated with access rights, and conditioning the operation of the processing means. The invention is characterised in that device comprises a duplicated structure, with a second input interface (E2) for receiving second scrambled signals, second processing means and a second output interface (S2) for delivering second descrambled signals. The access control module (1) then co-operates with the memory card (CA) for conditioning the operation of the second processing means to further convert the second scrambled signals.</p> |
