PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording material for ink jet having a three-dimensional shape, wherein a printed material having a size, a shape, and a surface shape being difficult to form with a sheet-form recording material can be obtained, a pretreatment such as the application of a primer is not required, and printing can be performed by a direct pigment ink jet printer. SOLUTION: This recording material for ink jet has an ink accepting layer comprising an application material for an ink jet ink on the surface of a base material. The application material for the ink jet ink comprises a water-based adhesive containing a nonaqueous polyurethane having at least one silanol group in the molecule, and an inorganic powder. Then, the base material has a three-dimensional shape. |
