<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhausted substance reducing method and device for a gas turbine engine. SOLUTION: The gas turbine engine 10 is equipped with a compressor rotor assembly 14 including a first rotor, a combustor 16 structured so as to operate at a fuel-air mixing equivalent ratio of below one, and a water jet assembly 32. The water jet assembly is equipped with a water supply system 82 including a plurality of first atomizing nozzles 288 for supplying water in the upstream of the first rotor. The water supplied to the first rotor is atomized by the first atomizing nozzles before being supplied to the engine for reducing the exhausted subststance emitted from the combustor.</p> |
