<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a 'double energy' recording technology operated by a single sheet phosphor screen in the single shot X-ray exposure that can avoid problems of wrong recording when patterns of high- and low-energy level X rays are recorded and they are read out in the form of the light stimulated by light. SOLUTION: The single-sheet photo-stimulant phosphor screen is characterized by the inclusion of a transparent self-supporting layer with a first face and a second face; the features that the transparent self-supporting layer has on the first face parallel grooves filled with a mixture of the first phosphors which have phosphors with the first X-ray absorbability to different energy levels of X-ray irradiation and a bonding agent and has on the second face parallel grooves filled with a mixture of second phosphors which have the second X-ray absorbability to different energy levels of X-ray irradiation and a bonding agent, that the second X-ray absorbability is different from the first X-ray absorbability and that the grooves on the first face are laid out spatially so that they can cross over those on the second face; and the provision of an inner wall equipped with an opaque material absorbing the light optically stimulated by the grooves on the first face and those in the second face.</p> |
