<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-diffusion type heat dissipation device, which is capable of making high-speed response by taking notice of the face that the time characteristic of nonlinear optical response is made higher in speed by damping of a freezing mode which is intrinsic to a nano crystal and a non- diffusion type heat dissipation method. SOLUTION: In the high-speed responsive non-diffusion type heat dissipation method, a metallic nanocrystal/insulator composite material is locally irradiated with a pulse laser beam in an ultra-short time and the light energy absorbed by an electronic system 2 of the metal nanocrystal is dissipated to the entire part of the metal nanocrystal and a matrix 5 forming the insulator composite material. The light energy is propagated to the matrix 5 through the freezing vibration of the metal nanocrystal having a nearly spherical shape.</p> |
