PRODUCTION METHOD FOR OPTICAL CABLE FOR SENSING DISTORTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for optical cable for sensing distortion, which cable has improved adhesibility with a buried object such as concrete structure and easily produced. SOLUTION: A rugged structure is provided on the outer surface of an extruded coating layer 4 of an optical cable 1 for sensing distortion and when this optical cable 1 is buried in the concrete structure or soil, concrete (cement particles or earth and sand) enters a recessed part (a projecting part is filled with concrete) so that adhesibility between the optical cable 1 and the buried object can be improved. By providing a reinforced coating layer 3 between an optical fiber 2 and the extruded coating layer 4, even when concreting, the optical fiber can be immune to the shock and even when concrete is cracked, no damage occurs on the optical fiber 2.
