ARAMID HOLLOW FIBER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aramid hollow fiber having a strength sufficiently withstanding practical use in spite of a thin film thickness and to provide a method for producing the aramid hollow fiber. SOLUTION: This aramid hollow fiber is characterized in that the hollow fiber is composed of a hollow filamentous material having an annular cross section. The method for producing the aramid hollow fiber is characterized by dissolving an aramid in an inorganic acid solvent, stirring the resultant solution, then separating undissolved particles and carrying out wet spinning of a clear solution as a spinning solution.
