PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-standing bag which has the three-dimensional bag shape similar to a bottle and the self-standing property, and is excellent in preserving property of a content and the shape-keeping property of a spout, excellent in the service aptitude such as carriage and transfer of the content even when the capacity is large, free from any folding wrinkles in a barrel, and excellent in appearance. SOLUTION: This self-standing bag 100 has upper and lower gussets 6 and 7 is formed in a shape so that both sides thereof are sealed by side seal parts 9 and 9. The upper gusset 6 is as long as or shorter than the lower gusset 7, a projecting part 14 with an outer periphery thereof heat-sealed is provided on an upper side of one (forward) pleat-like part out of the forward and rear pleat-like parts of the upper gusset 6, and a narrow spout 10 is provided on a part of the projecting part 14. An extension part 15 having a hole 18 for a handle of the bag or for suspension is provided on the upper side of one pleat-like part by extending either film, and the lower gusset 7 is heat-sealed by a bottom seal part 8 of a shape for providing the self-standing property such as a boat bottom shape.
