PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an openable case for storing a disk, capable of simply storing a disk, easily and reliably taking the stored disk out of it, and preventing the disk from being disengaged from the case when the case is dropped by mistake. SOLUTION: The openable case 1 to be used for storing a disk 11 has a storing case 1a and a lid case 1b, which are connected to each other by means of a back surface plate 1c provided therebetween. Claw plates 2a-2f for locking the central part of the disk 11 are provided on the storing case 1a. A first eaves part 8 protruding inwardly of the case is provided on the back surface plate 1c, and a second eaves part 9 protruding inwardly of the case is provided at an open end of the lid case 1b. Under the condition that the disk 11 is stored inside the case 1 by closing the case 1, the first eaves part 8 and the second eaves part 9 abut against an upper face of an outer circumference of the disk 11, respectively.
