PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railroad maintenance traveling device with a work robot capable of automatically maintaining and inspecting the facility established along the specific traveling route without a worker riding on the maintenance traveling device. SOLUTION: This railroad maintenance traveling device with a work robot is provided with a drive means driving along the lane direction of the specific traveling route, an imaging camera collecting the image information, a work robot maintaining and inspecting the facilities established along the specific traveling route, a control device controlling the drive means, the imaging camera, and the work robot. The control device verifies the image information of the facilities established along the specific driving road to be maintained and inspected which is provided by the imaging camera against the prepared image data of the facilities for identifying the facilities to be maintained and inspected. While stopping or reducing its speed on the each unidentified facility, the control device selects the tool for maintenance and inspection work provided to the work robot corresponding to the facility for maintaining and inspecting according to the predefined procedure.
