<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device capable of easing a feeling of uncomfortableness at the time of an air bag hitting an occupant and improving occupant retaining properties by the air bag. SOLUTION: When the air bag 12 expands, a first breaking deformation part, 13a to allow a part 12b of the air bag 12 to expand upward to the occupant, a second breaking deformation part 13b to allow another part 12c of the air bag 12 to expand downward to the occupant and a third breaking deformation part 13c to allow the residual part of the air bag 12 to expand to the occupant are mounted on a cover 13 to be structured such that the third breaking deformation part 13c is breakingly deformed after the first breaking deformation part 13a and the second breaking deformation part 13b are breakingly deformed.</p> |
