PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for holding an ink tank at an appropriate position in an ink tank supporting structure while reducing the chance of improper insertion of the ink tank into the ink tank supporting structure drastically, and a structure for reducing dripping or evaporation of ink in the ink tank when the ink tank is inserted into the ink tank supporting structure, held therein or removed therefrom. SOLUTION: The ink tank supporting structure comprises a first face (102) having an open end part, and an ink tank foot receiving structure located at the open end part to receive the ink tank foot part (210) of an ink tank (200) being fixed in the ink tank supporting structure by insertion wherein the ink tank foot part extends outward from the open end part when the ink tank (200) is located at an appropriate position with respect to the ink tank supporting structure. |
