PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data structure and a technique which can be utilized for the instantaneous discrimination of the appropriateness of the structure, such as the length, etc., of the sleeve section 2 of a ceramic radiant tube burner 100 provided with a ceramic radiant tube 1 which is exposed in a furnace 10 and in which a combustion chamber 8 is formed and the sleeve section 2 which is joined to the tube 1 with an adhesive 4 after the tube 1 is inserted into the section 2 and inserted into a furnace wall hole 11a bored into the furnace wall 11 of the furnace 10. SOLUTION: The data structure shows the correlation among the parameter values of the diameterϕand length L of the radiant tube 1 at which the maximum stress in the junction between the tube 1 and sleeve section 2 found from the diameterϕand length L of the tube 1 and the length (l) of the sleeve section 2 becomes the allowable stress of the adhesive 4 found from the temperature T of the junction or lower, the length (l) of the sleeve section 2, and the temperature T of the junction.
