PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost rotor to be used for a vane pump and a trochoid pump having the high strength and the high abrasion resistance. SOLUTION: This rotor has a pair of pinching members, a layer part formed by arranging multiple thin plates in the layered condition between these pinching members, and a fixing means for caulking the pinching members and the layer part for fixation.
