PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double side brailling device which easily and surely brailles characters on front and rear sides of paper. SOLUTION: The device includes a rectangular front plate 10 and a rectangular rear plate 20 which are coupled by a hinge and are so attached to each other that they can be opened and closed, and with respect to each plate, many windows 12 and 22 to braille one character are arranged in the horizontal direction to constitute rows, and no-window areas 14 and 24 longer than the longitudinal length of windows are provided between rows. Rows constituted of many windows 12 and 22 formed in the front plate 10 are placed so as to face no-window areas 24 on the rear plate 20, and rows constituted of many windows 22 formed in the rear plate 10 are placed so as to face no-window areas 24 on the front plate 10, and many units 16 and 26 each of which consists of a prescribed number of semispherical recessed face are arranged in the horizontal direction to constitute rows correspondingly to windows in plates of each other on inside faces, which face each other, of no-window areas of respective plates.
