PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device capable of obtaining the sufficiently long service life under an extreme using condition while keeping a simple structure. SOLUTION: This sealing device has a housing member for mounting an inner seal 40 designed to endure a high temperature (approximately 350 deg.F), and an outer seal 50 designed to endure a low temperature (approximately -40 deg.F). A third seal 60 is mounted as a dust elimination seal. The housing member, the first inner seal and the second outer seal are mounted as a modular assembly surely positioned to a component to be sealed such as a driving shaft of a steering axle. The third seal 60 eliminates the dust and a pulverized matter from the modular seal assembly. |
