PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a UV-curable ink for a protective layer of a photorecording medium capable of being used as a water ink or an oily ink. SOLUTION: The UV-curable ink comprises an organic filler exhibiting water absorption properties and/or oil absorption properties and/or an inorganic filler, and a UV-curable composition having the composition below, and is suitable for forming a printable protective layer: (a) 1-80 pts.wt. of a hydrophilic polymer, (b) 20-98 pts.wt. of a hydrophilic monomer, (c) 0-40 pts.wt. of a copolymerizable monomer and (d) 0.1-10 pts.wt. of a radical initiator. |
