<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color toner excellent in blocking resistance, low temperature fixing property, high temperature offset resistance, gloss, and transparency for an OHP(overhead projector) and having good transfer property. SOLUTION: The color toner containing at least a binder resin, coloring agent, organic metal compound and ester wax has the following features. The acid value of the toner is 5 to 45 mgKOH/g. The binder resin contains (a) polyester resin, (b) a hybrid resin component having a polyester unit and vinyl copolymer unit, or (c) a mixture of these. The resin component of the toner has the main peak in the region from 5,000 to 70,000 mol.wt. in the mol.wt. distribution measured by gel permeation chromatography(GPC), and the ratio (Mw/Mn) of weight average mol.wt. (Mw) to number average mol.wt. (Mn) is >=100. The toner contains 2.3 to 10 parts by mass of the organic metal compound to 100 parts by mass of the binder resin.</p> |
