PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera which is free of troublesomeness caused by the frequent occurrences of a camera shake warning, under special photographing conditions, such as high magnification zoom photographing, in which the frequent occurrences of the camera shake warning are predicted. SOLUTION: This camera is equipped with a photographing optical means (10) including a zoom lens (11), predicting means (15, 16b and 30) for predicting the occurrence of camera shake from the relation between the focal distance (f) of the zoom lens (11) and shutter speed (ST) set by the optical means (10), and camera shake warning giving means (16c, 19, 26 and 31) giving the camera shake warning, as long as the predicting means (15, 16b and 30) predict the occurrence of the camera shake and the shutter speed (ST) is equal to or under a prescribed level.
