PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice making unit of an ice making machine which produces sherbet-like ice continuously and makes block-shaped square ice in a short time. SOLUTION: A refrigerant circuit 6 is provided with a supercooling heat exchanger 13, and after water of a water supply circuit 15 is cooled down to be in a supercooled state, the sherbet-like ice is produced. According to this constitution, the automated ice making machine that makes the flexible and flowable ice continuously and instantaneously and makes the block-shaped square ice in a short time can be provided.
